No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics tools and embeds no third party content. Neither fonts nor maps nor scripts are loaded from external servers. Your choice of language is not stored either: The language follows solely from the address you open.

Getting in touch

This website contains no form that sends data to us. The enquiry composer in the contact section of the home page and the review form on the product pages prepare a message from your entries inside your browser only and open it in your own mail application. Whether and when you send that message is entirely your decision. A review is also published only after it has been checked, and only with a shortened name.

If you write to us by email, we use your details solely to handle your enquiry. Your data is treated confidentially and not passed to third parties. We retain correspondence only for as long as processing and statutory retention obligations require.

Server logs

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may record technical access data such as IP address, timestamp and browser type in log files. These serve solely the security and operation of the website and are not combined with other data sources.

Processing within our services

Separate rules apply to Reputation Scanning and are agreed in writing within the engagement. A screening only begins once the prerequisites for the agreed scope of the check are in place. Where required, these include the signed consent of the person concerned and valid proof of identity. Findings are delivered in encrypted form and solely to the authorised recipient.

With the Clu: Tresor software all contents remain on the user's own device. Encryption takes place locally in the browser. At no point do we have access to vault contents.

The same principle applies to the Clu: Kennwort software. Passwords, credentials and notes are managed locally on the device and are not transmitted to any Clu: Swiss Security cloud. No account with us is required, and at no point do we have access to the stored entries. Users decide themselves where the data is backed up and kept.

For the Clu: AI-Act training we process personal data of the participants. The certificate is verified digitally by Clu Swiss Security AG. For that purpose the first name, surname and email address of participants may be collected, together with the result of the knowledge test, the date of participation and the identifier of the certificate issued.

This data serves to deliver the training, to issue and digitally verify the certificate and to provide evidence to the commissioning organisation. The legal basis is the contract with the commissioning organisation and, where required, the consent of the participating person. The data is not used for advertising and is not passed to uninvolved third parties. The commissioning organisation is informed which of its staff have obtained the proof of competence.

We retain this information for as long as it is required to verify an issued certificate and to meet the evidence obligations of the commissioning organisation. After that it is deleted or anonymised. Scope and retention period are agreed in writing with the commissioning organisation beforehand.

We adjust this policy whenever our offering or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
